The Palm Print Kaftan Shirt Dress is inspired by the regal nature of a traditional Nigerian agbada, updated for your casual work wear and resort wardrobe with a smart half collar and a unique, uneven placket design. This is the ultimate go-to dress and can be worn on it's own or paired with the Uniform-Wear drawstring trousers for a more contemporary look. Features side pockets. Made with 100% cotton from Funtua, Katsina. Hand dyed in the centuries old Kofar Mata dye pits in Kano, Nigeria. The Palm Print is a carefully stenciled resist, formed using cassava paste and dyed once or twice, depending on the desired colour variation, by the skilled hands of Kofar Mata’s master dyers. The cassava must dry completely before the fabric is submerged into the dye vats, a process that spans 3–4 days.
