A hand-stitched lattice of beads covers a turquoise mesh base, each one set in a diamond-patterned grid, with larger teardrop beads in orange and navy hanging free so they swing and catch the light with every step. A high slit opens up the leg, edged in a ruffle of orange, yellow and navy feathers that continues around the hem and trails behind in a short train. It sits low on the hip and falls straight to the floor. Handcrafted in Nigeria by Kíléntár's artisans. WEIGHT: This skirt carries real weight from its extensive beading. OPACITY: This skirt is see-through. It is lined in soft tonal mesh, which sits sheer against the skin. Consider what you will wear underneath. FABRIC CARE: Dry clean only. Store flat in a dust bag so the weight of the beads doesn't stretch the fabric. Keep the feathers away from moisture and never iron them.
