A mesh mini slip dress hand-stitched with individually hanging diamond-shaped glass beads, with adjustable straps and a soft feather hem. The Desi Mini Dress takes everything the Desi Dress does and cuts it short. A grey mesh base, lined with the same mesh, is covered from neckline to hem in a diamond grid of faceted glass beads, each hand-stitched and left to hang freely so the dress catches light and moves like a chandelier. Thin adjustable straps hold it at the shoulder. At the hem, where the Desi falls into cotton tassels, the mini finishes in a band of soft mauve feathers that brush the thigh as you move. Handcrafted in Nigeria by Kíléntár’s artisans. WEIGHT: The dress is heavier than it looks in photography. Each glass bead is hand-stitched and hangs freely across the whole surface. OPACITY: The mesh base is lined with the same mesh. The dress has coverage but is not fully opaque, and the hanging beads provide significant visual coverage. STRUCTURE: Fitted through the body. The straps adjust, but the bust, waist and hip are fixed. If you are between sizes, size up. FABRIC CARE: Dry clean only. Do not hand wash, as the hanging glass beads and feathers need professional care. Store hanging, never fold or compress the beaded surface or feathers.
